I remember sitting on the beach last September on a girls trip with my best friends. My friend, Morgan and I were talking about health. She began to ask me a lot of questions about FASTer Way. We talked about it briefly before but not in person where I could explain everything to her. She was very interested in the things that I was saying but was still a little skeptical about the program. It’s so fun to look back 7 months later and see how much Morgan is thriving in this new lifestyle. I love her story and the transformation she has seen. I think that many people will resonate with her.
“Growing up, I was always involved in some sort of team sport and stayed really active. I also grew up in a family that ate a healthy diet. I never gave my weight much thought because I lived a fairly healthy lifestyle. After college, I got involved in running to maintain my good health. Last year, I went through a slump where I wasn't motivated to run and didn't know what to do. I was tired of cardio but was too intimidated to go to the gym and learn how to lift weights.
I saw that Claudia posted information on the FASTer Way and honestly, I was just really skeptical. I thought that counting macros, intermittent fasting, and specific workouts all paired together sounded really restrictive. However, last November, I decided to give it a try. It turns out that I love counting macros, intermittent fasting isn't as scary as I thought, and I love the workouts! What I thought seemed restrictive actually gave me guidelines to help me feel my best and fuel my body. I learned I wasn't eating enough calories for my body to function at its best. Once I started fueling my body correctly, I started feeling better.
I am so glad I decided to give the FASTer Way a try! I feel strong and healthy. I focus on my nutrition and get my workouts in. I've started running more frequently and noticed that I feel strong on my runs and my legs recover faster! Claudia has been such an encouragement to me throughout my journey with the FASTer Way. I am grateful for her friendship and how she has come alongside me to help me feel my best.”
Morgan has been so consistent over the past 7 months. Has she been perfect? No. But she has shown up every day and worked hard. She isn’t someone who expects things to change when she isn’t putting in the work and I love that about her. It’s been so special for me to coach one of my best friends. She pushes me to work harder and show up for myself each day. Accountability is such a sweet gift and it’s something I have with Morgan regarding my health. I can’t wait to see how she continues to grow and thrive living the FASTer way lifestyle!
