You know when you meet those people and you immediately know that they are a powerhouse? That’s Amy! If there’s one thing she knows, it’s navigating business success.
Amy challenged me and made me think outside the box, she was driven, bold, and encouraging all at the same time.
Today, you’re going to learn about her story. One that’s full of resilience, faith, and entrepreneurial grit. What sets her apart is not just her business success; it’s her devoted heart to being a mother and wife and her willingness to surrender when the Lord was calling her to a different path.
There are 4 words that describe Amy
Christian – she loves Jesus and is deeply guided by Him daily. Grounding herself in his word is something she has grown to look forward to each morning as she begins her day.
Wife – Her husband is truly her best friend and grounds her! The steady in her life that she would be lost without.
Mom – Her son Noah is more full of life than anyone she knows.
Creative – Her creative approach allows her to bring a unique perspective to each part of her business. Amy considers herself extremely lucky to have been gifted this creative outlook or creative perspective throughout her career to find success in many different fields of work.
Let’s dive into her business. The early days for Amy were full of questions. Some of these questions led to struggles.
- Finding good help and hiring because there are so many graphic designers in this world
- Reinventing the business over and over because of all the changes that were happening (there was no FaceBook and IG when she started her business)
- Developing processes that worked with a small team and little time
As she overcame the struggles she was met with insane growth. With the growth, she needed a supportive network or community around her. For Amy, that was her amazing friends and husband. They would let her vent and allow her the time she needed to make it through.
She then met Hannah who shared her secret to business success. They became friends and started working together.
After many years of running a successful business, Amy felt a call by the Lord to sell the business she had spent years pouring her heart into. It’s been 2 years since then. She is so proud of the business she has created but it was hard. Hard not having a salary like she’d had before.
Now, she feels like she can spread her wings and pour into other areas of her life like her son and husband.
