Reflection is part of the growth process. It’s something we have to do to make goals for our future.
Reflection takes courage sometimes. We don’t always love how our year went and looking back on it seems painful. I’ve been there myself. But, without reflecting, you won’t be able to see how far you’ve come and understand what you need to grow.
This time of year I like to take time to reflect on my life, my family, and my business. There are so many areas you have grown, you just haven’t taken the time to see it.
How are you going to do this? Here’s what I recommend…
Ask yourself these 3 questions:
- What have you accomplished this year? I like to think of this as a more broad question.
- What are you proud of?
- Which goals did you reach? Try to make this more specific.
After you’ve asked yourself these questions, express gratitude for yourself because you did some amazing things! Celebrate what your life looks like right now.
With this information it’s time to start setting goals for 2023. Think about (& even write down!) what your goals are for the New Year. When you’re thinking about goals for the New Year, I want you to think about these 3 questions:
- What can I do better?
- Where can I excel? (life, business, in general)
- What’s going to make me happy?
Now you’re on your way to a successful New Year!
PRO TIP: Take time to reflect and celebrate every month. Express gratitude for yourself not just at the end of the year but also during every month!
From my family to yours, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
