Laura has a unique and special story with health, homesteading, and motherhood that I’m excited to share with you.
Get to know Laura
Laura is from central IL. She met her husband and got married right after graduation. After moving quite a bit they settled down in Mt. Juliet, TN. She is a full time mama to two and runs a social media agency. Some of her favorite things are gardening, canning, baking, spending time outside with her family, and being in the mountains.
What was the turning point for Laura that made her reach out to me about working on her health together?
Laura was feeling burnout when it came to exercise. She was feeling unmotivated and needed some accountability. She knew she needed quick workouts that she could fit into her days of being a full time mom while trying to work and manage the home as well.
How has Laura’s health journey influenced her family’s perspective on health?
They all prioritize movement more and enjoy doing it together! Laura and her family have bikes that they often ride together and they love going on walks as a family. Her health journey has encouraged the whole family to be more active.
If Laura could go back and give herself advice at the start of her health journey, what would it be?
Laura said her advice to herself would be that it is a journey. It’s a constant, everyday thing and to give yourself grace on the days that don’t go as planned. It’s a lifestyle change and it takes time to achieve the goals she set for herself and her family.
