Everyone wants to be healthy and fit… but what does it actually take to be consistent?
If there’s one thing you need to know about health and fitness it’s that consistency is HUGE! Let me be the first to say that remaining consistent is the HARDEST part of achieving your health and fitness goals.
There are quite a few reasons why we fall out of being consistent or struggle to stay consistent.
I get it. At times you think – I only have 20 minutes, I really should do the laundry. But what if you took that 20 minutes and went for a walk OR hit a quick workout at home? This would keep you consistent.
If you think you’re too old to feel good in your body let me be the first to tell you that I feel better now than I ever did in my twenties. I’m more confident, active. and secure.
People are being shamed for making healthy choices. Wild right? But it’s happening.
It’s 2023 – we should be encouraging, helping, and cheering for those who have made the choice to make their health and fitness a priority!
With all that it’s easy to see why you might be struggling with consistency. How are you going to beat all that and stay consistent?
Here are my tips for you:
- Check your mindset – you have to be in it for the long haul
- Do something that you ENJOY
- Have a plan
- Find an accountability partner
- Give yourself grace
- Remember your goals
Being consistent is hard but once you get in the habit it gets easier and easier. Before you know it you’ve reached your goal and you’re on to the next!
